Every day you can find Mikayla and Zach up in the mango tree in front of our house. Actually, Mikayla likes to head out there during part of her school day. She has time every day for journaling, and she often writes letters during this time. Lately she has enjoyed writing her letters up in that tree. So Papa and Grandma are soon to receive letters from Mikayla that were written in a tree!
Zach likes to climb the tree too, but just for fun, not for writing.
Ah, the joys of home-schooling!
Ben is too little to climb the tree with them, a fact which causes him a lot of frustration. But today he got his new-to-him bike out instead and rode around the neighborhood. He is growing up so fast!

I am so proud of all you kids! You look like your Papa Hagen and your daddy when they climb trees, although they use ropes! Just don't get out your chain saws! Ben looks just like Zach. Mikayla, I can't wait to get a letter! I sent you guys a present today, just cause I love you so let me know when you get it!
