Mikayla had been asking us to find a way to come see her school and meet her friends, and we decided to surprise her like she surprised us. She had been dating this great guy for a while too, and we wanted to get to know him. We found some amazing tickets ($600 tickets roundtrip!!), so booked a flight to surprise her the end of October 2019. We had a wonderful time surprising her, spending time with her and my parents, getting to know her boyfriend and other friends, and even saw Steve's grandma, who turned 100. So thankful for the chance to see our girl again and get to know her world a little. She is thriving, and we are so very thankful.
