The Murphys are good friends of ours from the Philippines who are on furlough right now just like us, and they were able to come for a visit on their way through Missouri. We have had a great day hanging out - hiking at a state park, carving pumpkins and going trick-or-treating at the outlet mall. It has been good being with people from our "other world" again.
BTW, the costumes are: Cleopatra, Caesar, a nerd, a storm trooper (Captain Cody?), and a transformer (Optimus Prime?)
We are thankful for good friends who live all over the world - just wish we could see them all more often!

I hear ya, sister! Wish the world wasn't so big and travel didn't take so long and flying wasn't so expensive! :-) Beautiful pictures, by the way. You always take such good pictures. Tell the kids their costumes looked great - especially Mikayla! She was stunning as Cleopatra. Tonight I'm going to have a Spiderman (complete with built in muscles, hehe) and a Tinkerbell on my hadns. First time trick-or-treating for them and they are sooooo excited to get candy! :-)
