Christmas 2018

Ok, so this post will make how far behind I am just a tad obvious...Christmas in March...at least it's not Christmas in July, right?

 We were so thankful to have Mikayla home for Christmas. We waited to put the ornaments on the tree until we could be together, and I love the mischievous look on Ben's face...he and Zach like to put ornaments in Mikayla's hair as well as the tree and wait to see how long until she notices...

I had Christmas eve presents made for Steve and the kids this year, and they were a hit.

This was the Christmas of pets for Ben. 

In addition to the dog named Alba that he inherited from a friend in October, for Christmas he got 2 parakeets - Saphira and Glaeder after two dragons in a book series he enjoys...

 ...and an adorable lop-eared bunny.

Ben named the bunny Layla...you'll have to ask him why he chose that name. 

Definitely the cutest present under the tree this year!

This was also the 1st Christmas in 5 years that we have been able to celebrate with family. Since my sister and her family are now living in the Philippines, we had a blast celebrating the holiday with them.

 And having all 3 kids home was so good for this mama's heart. 

What a blessing from Him, one that we definitely don't take for granted!
