In October 2019, Zach's soccer team traveled to Thailand for a soccer tournament. I (Jen) was privileged to be able to go along as a chaperone. We had a blast together. Zach served as one of the captains on his team, and he provided some great leadership (the pic of the huddle is him leading in prayer). Their team played some great soccer, and Zach did an excellent job anchoring the defense (and his throw-ins were legendary, assisting many goals for our team). We stayed at a golf course resort with all the other Christian school teams. They also had some ministry time and team bonding. Their team came in 2nd place in the tournament, and I was so thankful that I was able to share the experience with Zach during his senior year.
